Sundays - April 13th, 20th, and 27th - Church Photo shoot - On your way to breakfast or during coffee hour, take a quick stop in the Trinity Garden immediately following either service. It's time we get to know you better and update our directory. If you prefer to send an existing photo to the church office, please be sure to include your contact information. A cancer survival story

If you missed the true story of Bosom Buddies founder, Bobbi de Córdova-Hanks continuing battle against cancer and her husband Jerry. There are still opportunities to learn more about them at www.speakersforlife.com and their book "Tears of Joy" helping others fight cancer. Many thanks to Bobbi and Jerry for sharing their uplifting story with us.

May 1st 7:00PM - Ascension Day Festal Eucharist - Our very own Father Britt will be delivering the sermon at the St. John's Cathedral downtown. Mark your calendar to attend this special worship service and to join with other church members and clergy across the Diocese.


May 3rd - School Annual Gala Fund Raiser - The eVent of the Year!

May 10th 2:30PM - IM Sulzbacher caravan - We will leave the church at 2:30pm to prepare and serve dinner at IM Sulzbacher homeless shelter from 3:00pm until about 7:30pm on Saturday May 10th. Be sure to wear close toed shoes. You can wear your own ball cap instead of the provided hair nets. Signup sheets will be in the back of the church. Contact Jay Nunley for more details.


May 25th 9:30 AM - One Service and Church Picnic - We will begin our summer schedule (one service at 9:30am every Sunday) on May 25th, the same Sunday as the Church Picnic. The details of the picnic are not complete but we will have old time games; sack race, egg and spoon race, watermelon seed spitting contest, etc.

Coffee Hour - Do you love to be a host or hostess?  Share your love of treats with our congregation and visitors after the service on one Sunday per month.  It's easy, fun, and helps put the work of spreading the good news of Christ in action. Contact Rebecca Schriver.


Breakfast Crew - Attention all chefs, cooks, and bottle-washers! It's time to have fun and fellowship in the kitchen while cooking Sunday Breakfast.  We have opportunities for you to share your talents as a team member of the Sunday morning breakfast crew.  Each crew covers one Sunday per month.  Contact Dan Stormes.


Choir Openings! Give glory to God with your musical talent!  The SJE Choir has open seats waiting for you!  Come sing with a fun group of people who enjoy the worship, spiritual and fellowship experience.  Contact Bill Peters or any choir member.

Musical Invitations: If you play a musical instrument and would like to participate in the music program please contact the church office. We're interested in trumpet players, classical guitar, woodwinds, violins, cellos...any classical instrument or brass instrument...all are welcome!
