uto 0.gifUTO - United Thank Offering - is a ministry of The Episcopal Church for the mission of the whole church. Through United Thank Offering, men, women, and children nurture the habit of giving daily thanks to God. These prayers of thanksgiving start when we recognize and name our many daily blessings. Those who participate in UTO discover that thankfulness leads to generosity. United Thank Offering is entrusted to promote thank offerings, to receive the offerings, and to distribute the UTO monies to support mission and ministry throughout The Episcopal Church and in invited Provinces of the Anglican Communion in the developing world.

About the Episcopal Church
Welcome to the Episcopal Church—a community of faith that seeks to respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed. The Episcopal Church is the Province of the Anglican Communion in the United States, Honduras, Taiwan, Colombia, Ecuador, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, the British Virgin Islands and parts of Europe. As of 2010, it is a church of 2,057,292 baptized members making it the fifteenth largest Christian denomination in the U.S. In keeping with Anglican tradition and theology, the Episcopal Church considers itself "Protestant, yet Catholic."  We hope you join us!

The Anglican Communion Episcopal Church is a part of the larger Anglican Communion, which may best be defined as all of the world-wide churches that trace their common roots back to the Church of England, and have stayed in fellowship with one another.  Like the Roman Catholic Church, the Anglican presence is everywhere. You could slip in for communion in Shanghai as easily as in Chicago.  You could find Anglicans to worship with in Namibia as quickly as you could find them in Nashville.  All are connected, not necessarily by agreement on every issue, but on the deeper grounds of love and shared experiences.
