The Reverend Steph Britt, Rector

Father Britt and his family came to San Jose in August of 2006, having previously served churches in Tampa, Florida and Augusta, Georgia. His Master of Divinity is from St. Luke’s School of Theology at Sewanee.

The Reverend Chris Sorey, Deacon

Deacon Sorey came to San Jose in 1995. She serves the church, but also teaches religion at the Day School. She was ordained from the Diocese of Florida and has served also at the Church of our Savior in Mandarin.

The Reverend Jean Dodd, Deacon and Head of School

Deacon Dodd came to San Jose when she became head of school in 2000. She was ordained from the Diocese of Florida while in her time at San Jose. She holds degrees in art and education from Florida State University and Jacksonville University and her diaconal training was through the Sewanee Extension Programs.

William Peters, Organist and Choir Director

Bill has a Masters degree in Music from Indiana University where he majored in organ performance and choral conducting. Bill taught choral music at Jonathan Dayton Regional High School in Springfield, NJ, and was music minister at Grace United Methodist Church in Kokomo, Indiana, Latrobe Presbyterian Church, home church of such famous personalities as Arnold Palmer and Fred Rodgers, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Pennsylvania, and Grace Episcopal Church in Orange Park before coming to San Jose.

Susan Beaudin, Parish Administrator

Susan has been at San Jose since 1992, first with the school, moving to the church office in 1997. She directs all of the administrative support of the Ministry and Program of San Jose. Susan and her family worship at San Jose Baptist Church.

Sue Dirghalli, Publications and Reception

Sue joined San Jose in 2006. She produces the Sunday bulletins and many of the other publications that support the ministry of the parish. Sue and her family worship at North Jacksonville Baptist Church.
